a) Website registration management
Managing user accounts (traveler or company) and providing access to website functionalities.
Legal basis: performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6, letter b GDPR).

    b) Creation and publication of company profiles (companies only)
    Collection and publication of data, logos, images, and business-related material provided for the creation of a public profile on lifetuscany.com and for promoting business activities in the area.
    Legal basis: explicit consent of the data subject (Art. 6, letter a GDPR).

    c) Promotion of local activities (companies only)
    Use of company data and images in articles, guides, posts, or content on LifeTuscany’s official social channels.
    Legal basis: consent of the data subject.

    d) Technical management and security of the website
    Anonymous statistical analysis, IT security, and service improvement.
    Legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6, letter f GDPR).

    e) Informational or promotional communications (if applicable)
    Sending communications related to initiatives connected to the LifeTuscany project.
    Legal basis: consent of the data subject.

    4. Processing Methods
    Data are processed using electronic and manual tools according to principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, and confidentiality.
    Appropriate security measures are applied in accordance with Art. 32 GDPR.

    5. Data Retention
    Data are retained for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected or until consent is withdrawn.

    Company profiles and published materials will remain online as long as the company maintains an active account.

    Traveler data will be retained for the duration of account registration and then deleted or anonymized.

    6 Data Communication and Disclosure
    Traveler data are not publicly disclosed or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

    Company data, with prior consent, may be published on lifetuscany.com and shared through LifeTuscany’s official social channels.

    Data may be communicated to external parties providing technical, IT, or website management services, appointed as Data Processors.

    7. Transfer of Data Outside the EU
    Data are not transferred outside the European Union. If such a transfer becomes necessary, it will comply with Articles 44–49 GDPR, ensuring an adequate level of protection.

    8. Rights of the Data Subject
    Users may exercise their rights under Articles 15–22 GDPR at any time, including:

    • access, rectification, or erasure of data;

    • restriction or objection to processing;

    10. Processing of Company Data and Use of Logos and Images (companies only)
    Users registering as companies or business owners authorize Gruppo Premiere S.r.l. to:

    • collect, process, and publish company data, logos, and images;

    • use such materials for informational, editorial, or promotional purposes related to the LifeTuscany project;

    • share the content via web and social channels for the promotion of the territory.

    The company declares that it holds the rights to the materials provided and releases Gruppo Premiere S.r.l. from liability for unauthorized use of third-party images or logos.

    This processing applies only to company profiles and not to private traveler accounts.

    11. Updates
    The Data Controller reserves the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with the relevant effective date.
